Kosmovision is a personal cosmology app, operated by Mainspring Data LLC. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it, in plain language.
We do not collect your device contacts, your location, or advertising identifiers. The app shows no ads and uses no third-party advertising or tracking networks. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and tell you in the app.
Your birth data is used to compute your charts across the traditions the app supports, and to generate written readings. Reading generation uses Anthropic's Claude API. To write a reading we send Anthropic your computed chart with your first name, your birth date, time and place, and your sex at birth if you gave it, so the reading refers to you correctly. When you ask a question of your chart, the Book of Changes or the tarot, the question goes too. When you ask for a monthly reflection, that month's journal entries go too. A reading between two people sends the same details for both of them. Your email address is never sent. If you turn on daily notifications, a device token is stored and the day's card is sent through Expo's push service. When the app or our server hits an error, a crash report goes to Sentry so we can fix it; it describes the error and the screen, not you, and carries no birth data, journal text or account details. Your data is never sold, and never shared for advertising.
Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and processed by our calculation service hosted on Railway. Payments on our website are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details directly; we never see your card number. In the Android app, purchases go through Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat connects them to your account: it receives your account id and your purchase history, not your card. Email is sent through Resend. These providers act as processors on our behalf. Deleting your account does not delete the purchase records Stripe, Google and RevenueCat keep.
You can edit or delete your birth data, your people, your friends, your questions and your journal in the app at any time. Discovery is off until you turn it on, and you choose field by field what a search can see. To delete your account and all associated data, use Delete account in the app, or email [email protected] from your account email and we will delete it within 30 days. How deletion works.
Kosmovision is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new effective date.
